Big Hit Entertainment Friendly Reminder For The Obsessive Armys

Recently, Big Hit Entertainment making a statement via their Twitter account just for the Armys. As we anticipating BTS to attend BillBoard Music Award in Las Vegas, Big Hit Entertainment just came up with a safety announcement to keep BTS from unwanted privacy invasion. The event will be aired live on May 21st.

To Big Hit Entertainment, this is a very good example for a label company to protect their label artist privacy. Personally I do feel disappointed because Army is BTS fans and not all of them are crossing the line and dare to invade their idol privacy.

Without Army, BTS will never received this award. It is a normal routine for the fans to greet their Idol in the airport, but it's totally really crossing the line when there some of obsessive Armys did as what Big Hit Entertainment  had claimed in the statement. That is not what an Army supposed to behave and do.

To the fans, no matter what Fandom you are, please do not be obsessed with your Idol until you dare to invade their privacy and crossing the line like this. We are not talking about to keep your distance to your Idol, but as a fan, we have to be where we should be accordingly without stressing or disturbing anyone. It is not appropriate to extremely following them until you have to sit by next to them in their tiring long hours of flight.

Approximately, it takes more than 11 hours to arrive to Las Vegas from Incheon International Airport. Some airlines could take as long as over 40 hours based on the waiting duration, stopover destination, and weather condition. For a person who travel a lot, traveling by flight is pretty tiring and during that long hours of flying, the individual may experience mental and physical health issues. For your information, these are the health issues that we are talking about.

1) Airplane cabin is not a healthy environment, according to the yoga therapist, Leslie Kaminoff and the passenger will not able to breath conveniently. This situation will affect their emotion and they will have panic attack because the passenger realized that they are way high like 8000 feet. It is important for them to have a relax and peaceful flight to calm down and avoid the stress from traveling in long hours.

2) Deep Vein Thrombosis or DVT or popularly known as "economy class syndrome" is the condition that the passenger used to experience while having a long hour of flight. This condition is the result from the immobility during the flight. Long hours of sitting without able to move like usual will cause DVT and leg-cramp. That is why an ergonomic seat and space should be available in any airline service. A long hours of uncomfortable flight is the last thing that the passenger want and this is definitely not a good time for a fan to sit next to their idol and make them even more uncomfortable. They have to struggle with their ergonomic issues and have to deal with your aggressive adrenaline at the same time, don't you think? So please let them have a peaceful flight for the big event.

3) Some of the passenger also experienced indigestion because in that type of pressure somehow can affect the digestive system. Most of the airlines serve cold drinks and carbonated drinks which is not ideal to consume in that environment. Most of the passenger unaware of this and making the wrong choice. They should pass the cold drinks, opt for warm food or tea to ensure they are not ending up with an upset stomach. Imagine if BTS is suffering with indigestion. With you staring, taking pictures, and continuesly trying to talk to them, you just make their condition worst.

4) The passengers in a long flight tend to sleep to keep themselves calm during the journey and this is their chance to rest as well. So for the fans out there, please do not think about taking pictures, trying to make a long conversation with your idol if you're happen to be in the same flight. Let your idol to have their rest and enjoy their calm flight. This is your biggest help to them so they rest before they continue with their busy schedule. And because of you who let them to rest, they are able work with a good mood, no fatigue, and they can focus with their job without any bad memories with someone that they called a fan on the next day (or maybe right away after they step their feet on the ground).

To Big Hit Entertainment, thank you for the statement. I'm not worry about the behave Army, but I do worry with the extreme and obsessive Army out there. Please be more considerate to your Idol who is constantly working.Yes, they won this award because of Army, and Big Hit Entertainment plus BTS do thanked you for that, for being so supportive to their career, but please respect their privacy especially when they need it like this.

I think there is no problem for you to welcome them in the airport with your banner and cheerful chanting. But please remember to give your full cooperation with the security officer and follow their security instruction if you want to be there. It is for everyone safety and the airport is not a place for a sudden big/massive/surprise gathering. So, it is totally not a fan territory, there are laws and guides that you need to follow as long as you're there, please keep that in mind.
