(Grammar) 이것/그것/저것, -아요, -어요, and -이오.

이것/그것/저것 are to indicate things in different distance for three kinds of demonstrative pronouns are used.

• 이것  This thing.
• 그것 That thing. (something that u cant see but just can imagine of it)
• 저것 That thing over there.

if you change that '것' behind 이,그 and 저, and add other subject point, it will be the point matter, such as

• 이 사람 This person.
• 그 사람 That person.
• 저 사람 The person over there.

-아요 means just the same as -어요. It follows syllables containing the vowels '아 야 오 요'

• 좋아요? Is it good?
• 좋아요.. Its good.
• 많아요. Are there a lot?
• 많아요. There are a lot.

-어요 is a polite, informal ending. It follows syllable containing the vowels '어 여 우 유 으 이'

• 있어요? Do you have it?
• 있어요. I have it.
• 없어요? Dont you have it?
• 없어요. I dont have it.

-이오 is a polite ending  that used when asking for or giving confirmation or repetition. Like, 'You are talking about-?' . -이오 follows nouns which end with consonant.

• 그 사람이오? You are talking about him?
• 그 사람이오. I am talking about him.
• 이 책이오? You mean this book?
• 이 책이오. I mean that book.
