Shawol, it's officially open. SMTown Museum is ready for you to come. Today is the grand opening of SMTown museum which is the first entertainment museum ever built in South Korea. Shawols are so excited to visit this museum after SMTown official announcement on their Instagram last month. Our K-Shawols already visit this amazing museum! 1.SHINee Discography from 2008 till recent
This is what we expected from the gallery. 10 points to SMTown because this is the major highlight of SHINee's gallery in the museum. Shawols can see every album that SHINee had since 2008 until now. Their own signature also is written on the album. To our new Shawols, it's not hard to remember their signature. 2. SHINee Original Song Drafts
Shawols took a picture of several song drafts from the gallery. Before an artist writes a song, a draft is something that they usually started with. Our SHINee members especially our beloved JongHyun did write a lot of songs for their album. They will write the lyrics, play the piano or guitar so the lyric is easy to understand, and then they will arrange the rhyme. Writing a song it might sound simple but if you see the drafts there, you will see how a song develops from a few words to several sentences and then how they choose which one will be the chorus, intro, and others. Personally, a person who can write and composed like SHINee is a music genius.

SHINee gallery in SMTown museum is like a merchandise heaven. Shawols who've been collecting photocards for years will get a heart attack after seeing the complete photocard collection in front of them here. Even the cute bookmark from SHINee's Everybody album also be displayed there.

4. SHINee Posters
Another merchandise heaven view. Every Shawol loves to have their bedroom to be filled with posters of our beloved SHINee. Maybe Shawols want to see the album, the wardrobe, and other precious treasures at the gallery but they really can't take their eyes over the bright and colorful posters.
5. Story Of Every Album
Each album has its own story. We can see why SHINee albums were produced differently. Why it came as a mini album or repackage, the story behind the songs, who wrote it, the story about the album illustration, who contribute to the album design, and more. It is something that some of us never know before.
Their wardrobe also been displayed there! Each of the outfits has the name on it. Shawol recognized which outfit belongs to who already but to see these stuff in front of your eyes is amazing.
The gallery displayed a lot of pictures that taken from their music videos and albums. Seeing all that really brings back all the memories from their debut days until now. Especially our baby TaeMin transformation from a cute baby to a manly baby now. For Onew, JongHyun, Key and MinHo, you will be so amazed because they didn't look so much different except for their hair.
8. It's Made Just For The Exhibition
Based on what we see, all of the exhibition materials are labeled with SMTown Museum. All stuff is made just for the exhibition. You will never get it in any shop out there with SMTown Museum label on it. So everything in this museum is limited edition because of the unique label.
9. SHINee Music Videos
Maybe the music video is playing all day. When you visiting SHINee gallery there, you are not going to visit a quiet room and just looking at the pictures. It is a place where you can spend your time as many hours as you like to enjoy the exhibition and watch the video over and over again.
This is another best place for us to visit. The fact that this museum is opened to public 3 days after our JongHyun Memorial Hall closed down makes us feel we have the new place to visit him again. Thank you so much SM Town for that. We love everything we see right there. Potentially, this is a place that always be visited by the fans every day from now on.
