(Grammar) -만 (only) and 주다 (give)


Time for a new korean language lesson. This is one of the simple grammar alright. The different between only and give.



-만 means only.

  • 나만 봐라봐. Look at me only.
  • 너만 할수있어요. Only you that can do it.
주다 is give.
김치를 주세요. Please give me the Kimchi.

-다 at the back of 주 is got dropped in conversation.
-다 is only shown as the root word in the dictionary.
