Happy 9^th anniversary SHINee. Time flies right. SHINee is the true princes of Kpop. Special for today, I would like to share with you everything that I love about my number 1 Kpop Princes. SHINee is a big name in Kpop music industry and never in 9 years they ever disappointing their fans.

SHINee Other Name

The fans also calling them these since 8-9 years ago. We are not calling them without reason, this is why we give them such a cute name.

Dubu Leader: Onew got this name (Dubu Leader) because he is the leader in SHINee and his skin is soft as tofu. In Korean, tofu means Dubu. Onew never looks old. He’s like aging backwards. JongHyun did asked him how can he become handsome every day. Onew don’t have the answer for that, he just shyly smiled and said he don’t know.

BlingBling JongHyun: JongHyun got this name because of his golden voice. After he sang “Y Si Fuera Ella” the nation recognized and acknowledged his talent in singing and his special voice. Shawol agreed the best voice in SHINee is him. JongHyun is not only talented in singing, he also has passion in composing music and song.

Diva Key / Eomma: He is a Diva because he is the most fashionista member of the band. He loves fashion and he knows how to take care of his skin too. He loves selca and always update his IG for the shawol. He also called eomma because of his caring and loving character. Shawol love him so much and his bromance with JongHyun make them called JongKey couple by the fans.

Flaming Charisma MinHo: He is the athletic member of the band. He is not only athletic, but the is very competitive. He doesn’t like loosing and he is the captain of the group in Dream Team (KBS game show). He always try his best in anything. He still not recover from loosing to TaeMin over a video game. He blamed the joystick instead.

Mushroom Maknae TaeMin: He is our beloved baby and the nations maknae (younger brother). He got mushroom hair in SHINee early days and he looks so cute in it. He just 14 years old when SHINee debuted. Watching him growing up make the fans want to protect him and take care of him. He also always get kissed by the members and older senior in SM Town. He is too lovable to resist.

Shawol is come from SHINee World. That is the name for the fans of SHINee. Individually, the fans also have their own name.

Fans of Onew : MVPs

If you noticed in their debut song “Replay”, Onew sings like this, “Noona you are my MVP”. Since that, the fans of Onew called MVP, no matter if they are older or younger than him.O new agreed with that and said, MVP is not Most Valuable Player, the fans are Most Valuable Person.

Fans of JongHyun : Blingers

Since JongHyun’s name is Bling Bling, the Blingers are the name for his fans.

Fans of Key: Lockets

Key is the key, and his fans have to be the lockets. Key is the one who unlock the locket of their heart.

Fans of Minho: Flamers

Because of his name Flaming Charisma Minho, the fans is simply called the Flamers.

Fans of TaeMin: TaeMints

The nations maknae called his fans TaeMints because the fans noticed he always give candies to his fans and noona when he meet them.

The First Song Of SHINee

SHINee Replay MV

I was streaming in Youtube, and I find a video from DJ Masa Mixes. He mixed all Kpop songs in 2008. I heard “Replay Replay Replay” as a part of the song and I search it. That is how I know SHINee and I love that song so much. Even at that time I don’t know anything about Korean language. I decide to learn Korean alphabet and korean language because of SHINee, and then I want to pronounce the word better when I’m sing to it, and I want to know the meaning of the song. Thank you so much SHINee because you make me learning a new language.

When I saw SHINee

The first performance I saw was their performance in Music Bank for Julliette. They won at the first place and I’m like, that is the group that I just searched in Youtube. I don’t know that music shows like this exist in South Korea every week. Since then, Music Bank, and Inkigayo is the most anticipated show every week for me, so I can watch their comeback and performance.

Why I Love SHINee

I also try to follow another boyband such as SS501, 2pm, Big Bang, and Super Junior which was bigger than them at that time. SS501 was great, and KIm Hyun Jung is crazily famous in K-Hit Drama Boy Over Flowers. 2pm was the artist of the year in KBS Music Bank, but JaeBum left the group. Big Bang has catchy music, but their taste of music changed. Super Junior had 10 weeks of number 1 song in Music Bank with “Sorry Sorry” and then, their next song is not captivating as much as previous. A lot going on to Kpop music industry at that time.

What I find out about SHINee, they're always trying new concept and comeback with a new sense of music. I never get bored listening to their songs. They are consistently take their image and concept to another level. They don’t act in so many drama, they don’t do a lot of variety show, but their music is amazing every time they make a comeback. Sky is the limit for them because of their versatility. Plus, I love their clean image too. So it is okay for the younger generation to look up for them because they have the good Idol image. No Drink, No Smoke, No Drugs, No Excessive Body Piercing. Yes they do drink, but not during working time.

SHINee Best Performance

SHINee is well-known as the best Kpop group in performance, even Rain Bi compliment their dance moves. Their dance always on point and the dance routine is not as easy as you can imagine. A lot of movement and technique combined in every performance. That’s why SHINee is a band that going to amaze you every time they are on the stage.

I love their performance in Replay, A.Mi.Go, Lucifer, Sherlock, Dream Girl, View, and Tell Me What To Do.

You must be wondering, I don’t put We Got Married (TaeMin) in the list right? Yeah, I don’t watch it. I know about the show, but It’s hard for me to watch the nations maknae like that. He likes his on-screen marriage, so I feel like, I’m watching his private life. I better don’t watch it. As long as he is happy and healthy, he can do anything and be with whoever he likes. Love you TaeMinie. In the show, MinHo also want to be paired up with other APinks member, but Key doesn’t want it. He just want TaeMin and him to have on-screen couple. Not long after that, Key also involved in the show, and his on-screen wife was a Japanese. I know about it, but I also didn’t watch it either. I don’t know, this is me, they seems like dating, so I don’t want to watch them dating, it’s too private to watch. Mianhae.

My Favorite K-Drama of SHINee

SHINee also can act and they are really really really good at it. Thanks to all beloved Shawol out there because keep on updating about their latest K-Drama, I’m able to watch it no matter how busy I am.

MinHo is the one who received a lot of drama and movie offer.

I watched MinHo in special drama Piano. He did very well in acting and the fans love it. His acting in To The Beautiful You also get a lot of compliment. In 2016, his involvement in K-Drama Hwarang was a big hit. He really did it well in acting.

Onew also received drama offer, but the most memorable one was his role in Descendants Of The Sun. It’s been a long time when MVP noticed the similarity between Onew and Song JungKi. In the Golden Bell Challenge, the MC did noticed about it. When I watched them to work together in drama, it is like a dream come true.

SHINee Love Life

Onew and JongHyun admitted that they had been in love relationship before. Onew dated a non-celebrity before. Onew and JongHyun agreed that their busy schedule making them hard to stay committed in the relationship.

For MinHo, there are rumors that he and YuRi SNSD are a couple, but he never responded to that. As for Key and TaeMin, I never heard dating rumors about them. But they really look like dating in reality TV show We Got Married.

   

SHINee Health

They traveled all around the world and their schedule is busy like crazy, so as a human being, they do get sick as reported by the news. Usually Naver highlighted about this. In late 2009, JongHyun, Onew and TaeMin diagnosed with H1N1 which was the pandemic year of the disease.

Due to that, Onew and JongHyun replaced by LeeTeuk and Yesung from Super Junior to perform Ring Ding Dong with the rest of SHINee members.

JongHyun did involved in several car “accident” and he got hospitalized. Some reported the accident was his excused to get a nose job but shawol just don’t care about it. We just want him to be healthy.

MinHo got injured during his shoot in Lets Go! Dream Team. His leg injured and during Lucifer promotion, he’s not able to dance with the band for several weeks.

SHINee Family

Onew is the only child of the family.

JongHyun has 1 older sister, and he is the younger brother.

Key lived with his grandmother. He is the only child of the family.

MinHo is the youngest of the family, he has a brother.

TaeMin is also the youngest of the family, he has a brother too.

SHINee In The Next 7 Years

My mind can’t stop thinking about their Military service. Onew is enlisted on 2018, and then JongHyun will follow. And then of course the rest will be joining the service, and I predict, this is what going to happen.

Onew Military Service : 2018.

So SHINee will be a 4member band.

JongHyun Military Service : 2019.

This year, SHINee will be a 3 member band.

Onew get discharged : 2020.

Hopefully Onew will be discharged after serving the military for 2 years. So the band will be 4 members in that year.

MinHo and Key Military Service : 2021

Since MinHo and Key are born in the same year, they might be serving the military together.

JongHyun get discharged: 2021

In the same year, JongHyun will be back from the military service. The band will be a member of 3 again for 2 years.

Key and MinHo get discharged: 2023

Now the band is back together as 5 again. (Cries)

TaeMin Military Service: 2024

And it happens again..

TaeMin get discharged: 2026

(Can they just go to military all-together T.T since 2018!)

In conclusion, 2018 and 6 years after that are the year where we’ll be missing them even more to perform as 5 member band. It’s their mandatory duty to go to military service. Please get ready shawol and please keep on supporting them. I believe even they are only 3 or 4 left in the band, they will keep on performing and making albums for us. They still received drama offers and variety shows in the future. They will doing solo project and much more. I believe this is not the end of SHINee because Shawol is the loyal fandom on earth ever. Let’s support and be with SHINee in their entire career, alright?

SHINee Happy Together 2016

Onew is well known with his Ttak-Bam. He can crack a wallnut with his finger. He also discovered that he can open a beer with anything.

JongHyun is like the composer of the band. He’s not only composing for SHINee, but his songs also been sung by other rookie group.

MinHo is the dancer, rapper, and actor, but he also showing passion in directing. His admitted to Konkuk University for major in film in Faculty of Arts.

Key love fashions. He fashion sense is good and I believed he can be a designer or hosting a fashion show.

TaeMin is an amazing singer and dancer. He can be a choreographer and produce solo album.

My Wish For SHINee

SHINee has fans in all over the world, and their schedule is hectic like insane. So to SM Entertainment, SHINee is the most wanted Kpop band on earth right now, please take a good care of their health too. Make sure that they are work well and rest well, you can put some health rule , for example like:

1)They have to go to bed by 10 and wake up by 6am

2)High protein food should be taken everyday for energy

3)Medical checkup once a year to detect any health issues

And so on.. well, prevention is better than cure right.

As a Shawol, I will always wish them for the best and support them. Be happy and healthy guys. Happy 9th anniversary and we will stay forever like this (that is what our Maknae wished too).
